How do you approach creating AI art and what tools or techniques do you use?
I approach it with the idea of a specific feeling I want to convey to my audience, not necessarily a picture in mind. I start out with simple prompts and add to them, as an idea becomes an artwork. I craft it from there until I have the feeling I am going for.
What do you hope to achieve through your AI art?
I hope to achieve a better understanding of self with the assistance of AI tools. I wish to explore with art. I hope that my art conveys that message, that it is safe to explore, and learn while still having fun.
How do you think AI will change the art world and the way we create art in the future?
I think AI is a fantastic tool for artists both seasoned and new. It allows those without the capability of traditional art to explore and create art that they may not have otherwise been able to.
What got you into the AI art space?
I initially got involved with making AI art because of my husband, who has been an amazing resource and inspiration in the space. I began using AI art to work through trauma therapy to express what was going on inside of my body during that journey. It really helped get some perspective on what was going on inside of my mind and we dove into the darkest corners of it. It has been an incredible tool in my therapy process and I love going back through some of my older works and comparing them to my works today now that I am in a different mindset.
